PAT GREEN BAND TO HEADLINE SATURDAY NIGHT CONCERT
MIDLAND, TX - The Bush Tennis Center will host the ‘Best of the West Weekend’ presented by Pioneer Natural Resources, Apache, KICKS 99.1 and KMID October 5th & 6th 2018. The weekend festivities will include several events that benefit local non-profit organizations and will conclude Saturday night at 8pm with a concert featuring the Pat Green Band. “We are excited to host an event the supports and recognizes the work of our first responders and several outstanding non-profit organizations,” says Tim Stallard, Executive Director of Bush Tennis Center. “Their commitment and work improves the quality of life for so many throughout the Permian Basin,” added Stallard. The weekend will kick off at 8:30 am on October 5th with the Valor Farm Eagles & Aces Golf Tournament presented by Apache hosted by Ranchland Golf Club located at 1600 E. Wadley Ave, Midland, Texas 79705. The shotgun golf tournament will consist of teams comprised of first responders and event sponsors. On Saturday October 6th at 8:30 am lace up your running shoes and bring your favorite furry friend to Bush Tennis Center for the Henry Resources Forever Home 5k & Pet Parade presented by Rhotenberry Wellen and Sandstone Ridge benefitting the Midland Humane Coalition (MHC). Immediately, following the 5k and Pet Parade join us for a live MHC rescue-adoption party starting at 930 am at Bush Tennis Center. The fun will continue Saturday at 11:30 am at BTC with the Navigator Oil & Minerals Company BBQ Cook-off & Tailgate presented by Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson, PC and Alderson Mercedes-Benz benefitting The Bynum School. Enjoy great food and watch college football at the BTC Tailgate and BBQ cook-off.
Then, at 8pm enjoy Texas country music star Pat Green as he performs at Bush Tennis Center. “I’m looking forward to returning to Bush Tennis Center again this year to help support the outreach programs that help so many kids throughout West Texas,” said Pat Green. “We had a great time last year with Django Walker, and I look forward to returning this year with my full band.” Doors will open at 7pm.
