tim Stallard - executive director

Tim Stallard has over thirty years of experience as a tennis professional. His coaching accomplishments include serving as an assistant coach for The University of Texas at Austin 1999-2001 where he helped coach the Longhorns to two conference championships and the NCAA final four. Tim has developed 11 Texas high school State Singles Champions, 7 NCAA All Americans and 4 USTA National Champions. His students have earned scholarships to top NCAA division one schools including The University of Texas at Austin, Stanford, UCLA, TCU, SMU, Baylor, University of Georgia, Virginia and Texas A&M.

JUSTIN DELGADO - director of junior programs  

Justin Delgado is a native of San Antonio, Texas. As a junior, Justin was ranked in the top 50 in Texas and went on to play tennis collegiately for Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Justin is a USPTA certified professional and has been with the Bush Tennis Center for four years. He has coached players to UIL State titles and has helped develop super championship players. He enjoys working with players from 10 and under to high performance high school and college athletes.

jACOB MATTHEWS - adult social & League coordination

Jacob Matthews is a local Midlander.  He started playing tennis when he was in the 7th grade at Goddard Junior High School.  He continued playing tennis until he graduated from Midland High School in 2015.  Jacob also started working at Bush Tennis Center in 2015 while still in high school.  Jacob started in the Pro Shop and has worked his way into teaching out on the court.  His passion for the game of tennis and his willingness to step in where there is a need has paid off and has earned him the position of Adult Coordinator.   Jacob will be heading up adult clinics, tournaments and leagues.  He also loves teaching children and will continue private lessons with all ages.  He currently attends Midland College and is working on his degree in History.





Bush Tennis Center is proud to partner with UTPB student-athletes to develop The ACE Program. Through the ACE Program, UTPB students Advise, Counsel and Encourage youth throughout the Permian Basin. The ACE program assists  BTC First Serve outreach programs and MISD PEP Program.  The student athletes also participate in BTC programs and events while learning coaching skills and sports management.
